I think they said in the chapter before this that the Spanish was from the original manga so I'm gonna add this here for the English speakers, "preferido" would be more accurately translated as "favourite" so, when Hernan says "me ha dicho fukuda que eres su favorito" it would translate to...

As a Spanish speaker myself I can confirm the translations are pretty accurate, i think the only thing that differs is how in Spanish it feels a bit more informal as if Fukuda and Hernán know eachother and don't use formal language while in English it feels a bit more plain and formal. Maybe...
