Yeah, definitely. I just think that there’s no reason to keep Shuri out of the loop on the plans. I expect that he is a distraction for the princess while they slip away. They’ll justify leaving him behind as being for his own good.

So, It really feels like some sort of planned betrayal. Why else would they wait to tell them they are packing to leave?

This has been bothering me since Dolly was introduced. How many sentient robots has the professor made and then discarded? It really calls into question whether she actually cares about her creations or sees them as being truly alive.

I guess it never clicked for me that Yuuyake could be that old. Wasn’t she shown to be a kid at the same time as Yuusuke? Like that’s how he got hurt, two kids playing with heavy machinery. Does that mean that at the time she chose to look like a kid? I wonder if that’s why the romantic...

They’re really going to set up the rouge desciple for a redemption arc, huh? It’s fine if she dies, and he learns some self awareness about his skill and maybe that he should be discerning about who he teaches. Gonna be pissed if she survives and is added to the roster.

It really feels like they want us to care about Akaha and her circumstances… but she’s fundamentally unlikeable.

Even after a timeskip they aren’t in a proper relationship?

So the church desciple is definitely the mole, right? They already pointed out how devout she was from a young age and she’s protecting a prince who is trying to weaken the churches power. He’s taken on too many desciples over the years, there’s got to be at least a few rotten apples in the bunch.

Damn. I see the paid light Novel translation is up to volume 12 though. Do you know if the short varies a lot?

Fuuuuck my life. I guess there were some implications that fire girl had some sort of alter ego she was surpressing. I refuse to believe all the prior actions were insincere… unless this is what she defines love as. Sigh. So where’s the web novel? Is it translated?

Cute. I have a soft spot for multiple personality heroine, but if it does become serialized I hope they make the branch personalities a bit more compelling. In the ending it really only seemed like the main one had a reason to care for him. It was pretty well established before that the others...

Thanks for the translation, but is the chapter missing some pages? It’s a lot shorter than the last one and it has a weird stopping point.

It’s seems pretty clear he is trying to out crazy the demon, he was talking too much. There was also likely unspoken circumstances with the girlfriend killing. Old man rolled an intimidate check.

So are these extras canonical?

This is moving too fast. I smell an axe!
