This story reminds me so much of Mutineers Moon by David Webber, just with a isaeki fantasy world instead of earth. It’s got so many shared points in setting I sorta wonder if the LN author read it back in the day. It’s a really old book, so not impossible.

It would be so refreshing if this is an actual romantic development. In most of the series like this it ends up being yuri bait only.
