I like to think that the reason Mizuchi is acting confused is because she didn't expect a youkai to have such a thorough understanding of human nature.

My biggest disappointment(currently): I can't read Teito Monogatari on this site. I feel that it might explain some of the importance that oni hold in Gensokyo, as well as give better insight into why vengeful spirits are so feared by youkai.

What if Reimu loses? Of course, that outcome is absurd. If she lost here, she'd be dead, and there wouldn't be a Touhou Project anymore. But...supposing she did? Her soul would be trapped in Hell, slowly transforming into some type of vengeful spirit. There has long been fan speculation...
