The author has a tendency to churn out mediocre trash, and this adaptation was no different, so I'm not surprised to see it end. I think this was probably for the best and am glad it's over.
I was honestly hoping this villain would win and then Ha Do Wan learn things from the prisoner exchange. This would break up the monotony of the villain of the week story we've been reading up to now.
