I don't think I mind this actually. Would have been nice to get more of a conclusion to the battle first but I guess it came down to not wanting to have either character lose which seems to be a recurring thing in this series.

Since the series has at this point already introduced the ability for people to come back from the dead, if they want to have characters be dead for real I hope they at least come up with an excuse for why they can't do it here.

What Yujiro says here in response to Hanayama asking him if he signed the autograph is 聞くな which in this context means "don't ask". 聞く can also mean to listen which is what the translator mistook it for. (He for sure signed it)
