Seems like it could have gone much worse. Unless the intent of "He's yours" was malicious, it's kinda breaking the "anxiety" pattern the author described.
Was this chapter half missing previously? Just clicked on it without thinking and couldn't understand what was going on until I realized it wasn't the latest.
Reverse grooming is always icky, feels like an excuse to depict that kind of relationship while escaping the implications. But this is that sort of manga in the first place so there's nothing to be done about it.
I like to think if the snake ever became a legitimate threat, Dara would notice almost immediately and intervene. The fact she hasn't realized is a testament to how pathetic he is.
I know this is meant to be absurd but you'd think the author would hold onto some cards for later on. Where do you even go after "I'm bringing the power of the Demon Lord into this"?
