I don't think it's a bug, but rather an oversight. Managers wants to make it so that only supporters can comment on chapters. The fact that we can still comment on this forum specifically for a chapter is most likely unintended at this point.

I've really been enjoying this "extension" of the Togashi high school section. While it was effective in the film, having this extra drama with the football team and the disbanding of the track team increases the grip this part of the story has.

Not really. Since each piece has a predetermined movement pattern, there is no room for variance in said movement. What changes the outcome of the game is solely on the player, so you'll only get "lucky" if your opponent makes a dumb play without realizing it. It's human error, plain and simple.
