Be nice if someone good at English was involved in the TL. So many errors...
Feels odd to be using Chinese readings of the names, but Japanese honorifics like -dono
One could argue for using the Japanese word, like keeping honorifics, or at least putting a TL note in the margins indicating what the original word is. If the source is inherently ambiguous, it's not doing any favors to translate to something that seems more specific.
Some errors:
"I did used" -> "I used" or "I did use"
"leaving them to lead me" -> "letting them lead me"
"what kind of faces" -> "what kinds of face"
"I know I'm feeling good" -> "I know I feel good"
None of them actually seemed good. First it was "does the TL actually know English?" then we got MTL with 'better' sentences but obvious pronoun fails.
I can't rec on quality grounds, though it was enough for me to get more cute power exchange story out of.
Ditto. I guess not every native speaker notices written errors as readily. But I was seeing a lot of mistakes pop out without even looking out for them. "extend" instead of 'extent", "when we bump" instead of "when we bumped", "compare" for "compared" (debatable), "rent sailor uniform" for...
