Yeah, pretty sure that isn't the case. The first panel is basically showing the aftermath of a violent and bloody nightmare. Her coping strategy is odd, but she's definitely got some issues and is worried about becoming the monster that the disaster fox is reputed to be.

That was an intense chapter. Author is getting away with so much just because they aren't human. Also, lol @ snake mom getting breasts as a symbol even though they do nothing. Yeah, okay.
