@foist: I think most people just want to read the next chapter, honestly. For me personally, if I had any interest in dropping the manga, I would have done it ages ago. I just wonder if there'll be a sequel manga where Kaz and Mizuhara's kid dates Sumi's kid or Ruka's kid. xD
@dilftrons99 : It already happened a while ago, but Kazuya doesn't realize that Mizuhara heard him. And she loves him back, so we're in the "misunderstanding" phase where the obstacles are addressed before they finally get together. Mami is clearly an obstacle, to a lesser extent so is Ruka...
@kolje : He's talking about Mami because she knows his and Mizuhara's rental relationship and both of them are worried about what she might say to Kazuya's grandmother. The fact that Kaz and Mizuhara are more real girlfriend/boyfriend at this point doesn't matter with Mami because the two of...
@HalfCanadian : I think it would be a good idea to keep American politics out of these comments. American public discourse right now is on a level of pleasantry somewhere between a root canal without anesthesia and getting a rusty nail hammered into one's penis.
@Yuriglutton : It's not prostitution and it's a lot older than streamers. It didn't even start with Harvey Weinstein, though he's the most popular example nowadays.
A lot of the time in entertainment, or any employment setting, a woman might sleep with someone or some people to either climb the...
@Lustrist : He already confessed, he just doesn't realize she heard him. And she is bringing up relationships with a guy who she knows loves her.
The biggest storm on the horizon is Mami, who wormed her way into Kaz's grandma's trust and Mami is clearly plotting something horrible.
@HalfCanadian : I pretty much saw what Umi was going to do since moment one, to be honest. He's a slick guy with a ton of money and influence, and the way he's always got that fake smile plastered on his face speaks volumes. He's got a different girl every week, smart, manipulative, powerful...
@HalfCanadian : If Umi was trying to convince Mizuhara to get closer to Kazuya, she wouldn't have become upset and left the party with Kazuya. She was very clearly having tons of fun at the party with Kaz before that conversation with Umi took place. And for her, these parties are pretty normal...
@Menhir : you have to read between the lines here. Aside from what Umi pulled last chapter, (saying "I want you" to Mizuhara through Kazuya,) in this chapter, he took a happy Mizuhara aside to talk to her, and immediately after they were done talking, she was upset but thoughtful and left Umi...
Staff, thank you very much for translating the chapter.
I am guessing Umi made his move and Mizuhara told him to shove it. She did not seem happy after talking to him, and even though Kazuya was beginning to like the party, she asked him to join her in leaving.
For context, those who don't...
During the movie arc, Umi said he'd help Mizuhara with her movie if she went on a date with him. He asked her out, she declined, and when Umi asked if she liked Kaz, she said: "I don't like him, but I don't NOT like him."
So, here, Umi is using those very same words to tell Mizuhara he wants...
@frumpyjungle : Exactly. It's pure genius on the part of the mangaka to make all his knives come out, and half the readers don't even realize yet that he's out to destroy the two of them and these readers are continuing to think he's somehow got "good intentions."
