No Asemi is the teacher that was in charge of Kaya before getting replaced by Chie because she had a mental breakdown. I don't think the mirror teacher is going to appear again.

Hello everyone, sorry for the huge delay since the previous chapter! I'll try to do chapter 50 a bit faster... PS: I haven't been able to procure raws of the extra chapter for this volume (8), so I won't be able to translate it for you guys.

I didn't put a TL note for this since I assume everyone familiar with manga knows this already but: "nee-nee" is short for "oneechan" meaning "big sister", and "nii-nii" is "big brother". Also Akira-sensei calls Kazu "Kazuma" on p.6 but the name on his tag on the next page is "Kazuya". Not sure...

Forgot to make a note about the baby's name, Shizuku: her name could be a combination of her dad's name Shizuo and the number 9 (Kyū/Ku), something like 靜九 in Kanji, which could imply that she will have powers like Kaya. It's written in Katakana only as of this chapter so I'm just speculating...

You can go back and read the beginning of chapter 1 to see what happened to Asemi-sensei... On another note, volume 9 is out! By the way I haven't been able to find raws for the volume 8 extras, if anyone knows where I can find them please DM me :) EDIT: copying my other comment here for...

The first name of characters is pretty much always written in Katakana in dialogue, including the Ebisumori priestesses (Mutsu/ムツ, Nana/ナナ, Kaya/カヤ)

Sorry this took a while, I made an oopsie while copying files around and overwrote the Photoshop files for this chapter so I had to restart from scratch.

Quick update: don't worry I haven't abandoned this series but chapter 45 will take more time. I accidentally overwrote the chapter files and I couldn't restore them. Thankfully the TL is on google drive so it's safe, but the PSD files weren't backed up so I have to redo the cleaning/redraw and...
