Brother just made a trolley problem out of nothing. Why can't he just call and warn her about the guy, since he harasses models? Or call her girlfriend and tell her about this. Pretty sure any decent person will be okay with preventing sexual harassment.
There's no other way to look at it. She knew she had no way to raise the kids but still gave birth to them. She may not have aborted them but if Japan didn't have good adoption services, she might have as well killed them to poverty.

I know this is a high fantasy setting but I cannot suspend my belief for them not getting shocked by electricity by calling out lightning. Seems kinda like lazy writing tbh.
