"Meshi" translates to "rice" (cooked). which makes a lot of sense as Ikameshi is squid stuffed with rice. Meshi doesn't actually translate to delicious. "Delicious in Dungeon" took a few artistic liberties with the title translation - Dungeon Meshi more properly translates to "Dungeon Meals"
