Whether they have deep-seated affections for each other or not, I think they both know that crossing the line is extremely bad for her reputation. They joke about it in the chapter, but idol fans are absolutely terrifying. You don't fuck with them.
On one hand Misfits clearly put a lot of time and dedication into scanlating every chapter and deserve to have a loyal following.
But on the other hand, they're late a few weeks and that's sufficient moral ground to abandon them.
