That would be amazing. The art here is already nice, but definitely on the more cutesy side. Until it isn't. There's something to be said for the mood whiplash it invokes, but something with more gravitas would be nice too.
I didn't think so until you said something. Now I can't unsee it. Not that big a jump given the whole crossdressing angle the manga has going for it, but still!
Have you never gotten hit with one of those things? They freaking hurt, man! Maybe not infirmary level, granted, but even that's not a sure thing. Besides, this is a story. Of course things will be played up. That's what makes it entertaining.
This is my first time reading a work by this author, but apparently, she has a niche. I actually hope she takes the series in a different direction this time, though. It has all the makings of a great series that can stand alone without familial love turning romantic. Maybe we'll have a chuuni...
Ow. This one really hurt. :meguuusad: Another reminder that so many of Amalreiks are just children who were all taken too soon. They're just such inherently tragic villains, even if they might want you to forget that.
