They had to nerf the protagonist to the core to praise one of the worst villains in terms of writing that I've ever seen. Juujika is rotten, it's a plague, and that's why it disappeared from the manga industry.
It's almost comical how Shun had to be nerfed for the author's poorly written, mediocre villain to gain prominence.
