A common mistake a lot of ESP to ENG translators do is add the upside down exclamation and question marks. Those don't exist in English, just the end punctuation. Thanks for the translation.

@FredFriendly The <creature> noun goes between "this" and "is". So it would be "Can you explain what (a/this) <creature> is?". Your example, "Can you explain what is this creature?", only works if you add a semicolon after "explain", so it would be "Can you explain; what is this creature?"
