Rokuhōdō Yotsuiro Biyori - Vol. 2 Ch. 9 - The Fascinating Sweets Collection: The Conclusion

My guess: Yakyō is the elder brother by about 2-5 years. Their father wanted to sell the cafe, and Kyosui refused. They had a fight and the father told Kyosui he was on his own and wouldn't help him with the shop—Kyo swore he wouldn't come back even if he had to. Yakyō has tried to convince...

Yes, he and Celes are from the Kingdom of Oilia. (Aka France lol)

Seijo ja Nakatta node, Oukyuu de Nonbiri Gohan wo Tsukuru Koto ni Shimashita - Vol. 6 Ch. 28.2

Translators, I think using soft is great in place of nama. I'm debating about regular in place of tadano, just because I think of soft caramel candy as "regular" caramels, and the Werther's Originals as "hard" candy. Just a thought 🤷🏽‍♀️

Seijo ja Nakatta node, Oukyuu de Nonbiri Gohan wo Tsukuru Koto ni Shimashita - Vol. 6 Ch. 28.2

I mean, she's making milk caramel candy, not just caramel sauce. She's made crème caramel/flan/purin before this. It is a pain in the ass to make, but she isn't just making caramelized sugar. Sure you could make hard candy out of it, but her wanting soft candy makes the difference.

Isekai Teni shitakedo, Ouritsu Gakuin de Jimuin Yattemasu - Ch. 1

Agreed. I'd rather see her with the Lord or Julian. Hell, even Theo.

Gohan ga Tanoshimi - Vol. 1 Ch. 6 - Three Generations Of Tableware

I did the same thing when I moved away to a new city: I took some kitchenware my mom wanted to sell! They're a beautiful set of four jars, and when I was a child, she used them to hold flour, sugar, beans, and rice. Mine hold rice, beans, lentils, and pasta now, but they make me think of home...

Chiikawa: Nanka Chiisakute Kawaii Yatsu (Webcomic Pages) - Ch. 1121 - Momonga Tries Coffee

I think it's their reaction to the bitterness. They expected cocoa, got bitter espresso, and had their little moe moment. Kind of like when a kid is offered lemon for the first time and they have an adorable reaction to their first taste of sour.

    Isekai Izakaya "Nobu" - Ch. 130 - Twin-Rooted Tree

I disagree, respectfully. She said her mother married a nondescript plain face of a man. Our Nikolaus is a handsome, hard-working guy! :dogkek:

Isekai Izakaya "Gen" - Vol. 5 Ch. 25 - Behind the Door

Yup, you're right! My mistake. Regardless, Gen is in Tokyo which is mirrored by being placed in La Parisia/Valisia/whatever the translation is at this point, which is the main center of commerce, fashion, etc, while Aitheria is the old capital of the Empire, ergo, Kyoto.

Isekai Izakaya "Gen" - Vol. 5 Ch. 25 - Behind the Door

While I'm still searching for the specific chapter, Damien gets transported to Fushimi Inari Taisha Shrine in "The Witch and the Archbishop." Unlike Gen, where there is a Fox deity specifically looking over the Yoshimura family, Nobu was simply spirited into Aitheria by a kitsune. In the LN...

Isekai Izakaya "Gen" - Vol. 5 Ch. 25 - Behind the Door

Nope. Gen is in Tokyo, and La Parisia is in Oilia—they're both the modern and moneyed capitals of their respective worlds. Nobu is in Kyoto, the old capital of Japan, just as Aitheria is the old capital of the Empire (to the north of Oilia/La Parisia.)

Isekai Izakaya "Nobu" - Ch. 113 - The Night Before the Banquet ①

While you're right, this is also kind of negated with the recent revelation that it's Edwin who has God's Tongue and Ludwig Sr. had a normal palate. He still pushed himself to achieve something nearly impossible, though.

Isekai Izakaya "Nobu" - Ch. 114 - The Night Before the Banquet ②

I didn't realize Lushia/Rushia was Russia until this most recent translation tbh LOL. I kept remembering it as "Lupsia"/"Rupsia" from the older translations.

Isekai Izakaya "Nobu" - Vol. 19 Ch. 115 - Banquet

Wondering if Zezeman, because he's from the south of the Empire, has this world's equivalent of Moroccan ancestry in him. :thonk: Or maybe Algeria or Tunisia? Would love to see some of their cuisine as we did in Gen with lablabi, which is from Tunisia.
