I feel like we’re heading to a classic lovecraftian-horror ending of “the world is doomed”, but with a twist that the main couple is fine and doesn’t fully care. I could see this series being an exploration of the final days of the world, in a way.

…. If they seriously just pulled a “I’m taking my toys and going home” move, then that’s BEYOND childish. I get people being annoyed at sniping, but that would be an incredibly immature response. Even more so when you consider how they were time-gating chapters. That’s fine, plenty of groups...
