It's like a more fleshed out version of those villainess stories I've come across where the FL ends up attached to the family because of a child, not the ML. Those can be interesting but tend to all have the same story. This could be a far more interesting version of that idea.

I know the novel had more drama and tension here… but I almost like this better. Just “you will never beat me!” directly into “oh shid he beat me” is awesome xD

Well and really, I don’t think it’s a “bad thing”. It’s just not a “me” thing, really. I think the story is interesting enough, but maybe I’ve read too many slow manga lately that I’m just itching for something more… direct lol xD
