If her siscon devotion wavered like that, I actually would've been disappointed. She already got spotlight as an antagonist, which is plenty enough for this manga's central pace. I wouldn't refuse a light novel side story, though.

If I remember the first LN, Kazu was originally out of shape, and didn't look like that until after a few months of adapting to the first floor of Abyss. Guess this manga will be skipping some setup?

With the anime announcement, I'm also looking forward to Nightingale's laugh.

They all slit their throats and committed suicide to become Returners. Touya (and Haito, by inferrence) just happened to cling to their human sides when they did it.

So Kyouji used to be a decent guy before DS happened. Must be rough now that protag is the new Kyouji. Cool callbacks (call-forwards?) to Urabe and Naomi, too.
