They all slit their throats and committed suicide to become Returners. Touya (and Haito, by inferrence) just happened to cling to their human sides when they did it.
So Kyouji used to be a decent guy before DS happened. Must be rough now that protag is the new Kyouji.
Cool callbacks (call-forwards?) to Urabe and Naomi, too.
>The 'ikemen' of the heart
The absolute madman. I'm expecting him to have a backstory of illness since he reminds me so much of the Love Master from Tsurezure.
@ARealCoolGuy
Note the first panel, he's eating candy.
The implication is that she gave him that candy on White Day, and after looking up the meaning of "candy on White Day" he realized what she was implying.
@Sparky_ They both knew having a relationship on that disastrous foundation would not work, but if they happened to meet up by chance down the line then they could start anew. With that new meeting they were free to hook up on that basis instead.
Guys, remember what MC said in Chapter 2:
>This is the first time I got myself a girlfriend after 23 years.
Add the year he spent with her, and that means she reincarnated right after enlightenment (when MC was 24).

He assumes those hours are his personal time limit, so if he flings himself into the future he can "extend" his own clock by technicality.
The inverse hypothesis is that those five hours were actually that world's time limit and he may have actually rushed into a Game Over.
>read page 1
>recheck the tags
>wonder if the Tragedy tag wasn't added yet
>go back to reading
>breathe a sigh of relief after the last page
Well, that was a fun trip.
@kirbee
If she didn't say there were other girls he'd be "suitable to date", he wouldn't have brought up being rejected by her.
When trying to persuade someone, you have to learn their logic and break it, not use your own and automatically assume it to be superior to theirs.
@dethduck
It's a matter of duty. As the Princess, bringing the Hero to her kingdom is her divine purpose.
If she cannot do that, the people of her world can no longer trust her family.
If her family cannot be trusted, the people of her world will no longer be united and opportunists will exploit...
@greatninja3
If the author did his research, then why did he have Simo's power involve a scope? I understand that Sinners as people are separate from their historical ancestors, but how could he goof the one famous detail of Simo?
>this Greed D (name revealed to be Emulator) using Wang's personality and power
Since Wang did die via D-Game's voxelization, I had a feeling all those bodies the GM chunked were merely warped to a physical location. I wonder how the "graveyard" got accessed?
I think this chapter actually soured the story for me.
Don't get me wrong: I don't normally take issue with "forgotten first meetings", but when the main premise requires two people having an arranged marriage AS their first meeting, the story beat of a "forgotten first meeting" overwrites that...
