I'm hoping Norio-sensei will take the end of the series to take a well deserved break, then come back with sequel series once they've had some time to develop some more ideas. I don't think any announcements have been made. The spin-off is still ongoing though.

It reminds me of another manga where the MC promises an illegal marriage. At the end of the manga he becomes a politician and changes the law, just so he can fulfil his promise.

I love that TL doesn't feel an ominous foreboding from any of this. I'm just getting pure psychological horror vibes from chapter 1.

This mangaka is great at drawing normal looking people well. Even in stuff like Gantz I always enjoyed his character art.
