I think this was part of the regular chapters in the web novel. It's just more worldbuilding. Author loves his worldbuilding. It's basically 90% of the written text (and it's great).

If there's one thing I dislike about Maro, it's his constant simping of Ushikura. He literally has at least 4 girls who are not only much better, and has great chemistry with him, they're all also into him. And that's not including the cards.
