    Its a shame the Angry Austrian Art school dropout had to go and SCREW THINGS UP for the PRR.

    I am of course referring to the fact just prior to the outbreak of WWII, The PRR was celebrating the sucess of their previous electrification projects and was now planning to embark on the one that had the highest promise.

    The N&W and VGN had shown the wisdom of electrification of heavy mountain freight corridors, so the PRR was planning to build out from Harrisburg to Pittsburgh and electrify over the Alleghenies.

    I coulda seen GG1s through Horseshoe Curve! But nooooooo. Can't have nice things 😕
