It did give the anime it's own kinda charm and very VN like, and I did kinda like it for it's novelty, but it didn't fit the story that much and would work better for another kind of story, and I think the novelty would quickly die...

    Not too, just the shirt. MC never got hurt it was just his shirt that broke and he mended it the very next page, after complaining he fixed it in 1 panel.
