@genderbenderbb2 yeah it is a shame. I knew it after I finished reading this like last yearish? But came back to reread/recommend to someone despite it, since it's so good. I don't usually read gender benders, but this approach to it is so realistic and it really doesn't hide it. Sad to this...
That was a rushed ending... I felt he didn't deserve her, and was hoping she rejected him and they got on with their lives with him realizing he needs to take a long look at what he actually wants, and learn from it. But if they were going to get together, should've had him slowly win her back...
@Phywhy I thought the same, but it could be that they consider "like" as sexual attraction too. Because she can like people, such as her family and her childhood friend in an affection way, but not in a sexual sense. It isn't as clear in Japanese, though. More to be explored!
Idk I think the father gave her the sword to protect herself until he could get the prince to save her. But she took it wrong because of past behavior and he didn't explain. The father honestly looked concerned.
omg he is the best ML in history... this guy, moving the moon and back to be a support beam, shielding pain from his family by undertaking it himself, playing the villain to act as their savior... nobody as of late can beat how marvelous and selfless of a person he is.
@Comicfreak101 it might be a case of "father said take this poison if you're loyal" and as a kid he probably thought "he wouldn't kill me for real," going along with it till the actual point he was supposed to take it. But before he could chicken out, it poofed into the air.
