It seems like he's simply trying to weed out all of the evil people from the world. I think his end goal is to cull all of the evil mortals, then kill all of the gods, then kill himself leaving behind only a pure world.

Honestly I’m getting incredibly bored. This manga was carried entirely by the interactions of the leads. With them barely interacting this is the most generic 5/10 slice of life manga that exists.
