It is good to see the manga adaptation is still ongoing, especially since the LNs (iirc) are still not officially translated and there doesn't appear to be any S2 of the anime in the works.

I've noticed that for some reason most JPN written stories seem to like servile MCs, still wanting to talk peace even though the situation is too far gone and everyone else wants to fight. But KR and CN stories don't use servile characters in this scenario, they are usually always straight up...

Source of info? Because if it was that severe the publishers would've cancelled Deadpool Samurai outright and made an official announcement. A hiatus could mean damage control, but not to the extent of cancellation.
