Well, this soul is clearly against her body being used like that and the souls Van "uses" are very happy being with him. Not to mention he is not *ab*using them and tries to keep them out of danger they can't handle.

Plus, this guy is literally using her body as a skin suit, whilst Van gives his souls new bodies if necessary. This is really not the same situation.
