This is referencing the real-life in May 2023 when comic artist Yano Toshitaka posted a set of comic pages on twitter with the text "A poor communicator came to the arranged marriage meeting." It blew up on twitter getting 50,000 likes in a day or something, and as of Feburary 2024, a first volume has been published in paperback.
Given that the original twitter post (May 2023) and the first pages from Barasui (September 2023) came so close together, it's hard to say if one inspired the other, or if they both just had the same idea to pun "commu-show" (communication disorder) with "komusou" (a specific kind begging zen monks who wear baskets over their heads and play the flute), but the initial blurb in these first pages essentially says "He beat me to it!"
