I have read the first dozen chapters of this and I like it even though I need a little break from the craziness now. It's nice to now and then get a glimpse of the underbelly of Japan, the people who don't quite fit into the extremely conformist society. This is something like the extreme ADHD version though, but of course subtlety wouldn't fit this story.
It made me think of Ettore Scola's film "Ugly, dirty and bad" about a family in the slum in Roma in the 70s. A brutal story full of dark humour, absolutely hilarious, but honest: Human dignity is a luxury that poor family simply can't afford.

It sucks it isn't on this site any more. I'm currently reading elsewhere. But I had to leave a comment just in case anyone was thinking about reading this. It's worth it for sure. Very chaotic but if you can get into it, the payoff is great solely because of how hilarious it is.
