I think people might be misinterpreting my intentions here. I'm not meaning to say it was not reasonable or okay to do so, I'm under no delusion that eight months is a long time, no matter what personal health conditions are involved. It's just that getting in touch would have avoided two chapters coming out back to back this way. It's unfortunate cause it's putting everyone involved in slightly awkward situations.
Life goes on. I am not mad at them, and neither is the rest of the team working on this as far as I'm aware. Like I said, "it is what it is".
Sorry if that came out sounding snide or salty originally, it was far from the intention.
