Read the last chapter, and it feels like it's incomplete for some reason.
Because it is.

It's only "completed" because the mangaka, apparently, couldn't continue, not because the story itself is finished.
There are too many loose ends to consider this properly finished.

there's nothing i hate more than a romantic manga where the couple doesn't actually get to grow together once they are finally in a couple. Hey! now that we've beaten the blue balls/indecisive/thick dummy step and the MC finally acknowledges his love to the FemC and actually can do something out of that red herring we've been following for 50+ chapters! LET'S FUCKING END THE MANGA THERE!

God Fucking Damn It.

the awfull cousin doesn't get to redeem herself.
the cosplay con? nothing gets out of the studio trying to reach the FemC.
that's what she loves doing and she could go pro, but whatever.
his career as a dollmaker? i guess fuck you it's been sidelined for most of the manga, but who cares.
everybody's happy for them, nothing's happening and we get a cancel style (tm) closing chapter.

wanna bet the last chapter is a timeskip? just so we get the holy trinity for shit romcom manga endings?
I'm very sympathetic for the health of the autor. It's a shame that this series ended so abruptly. But I agree with you, could be so good but in the end nothing came out of it.
I loved it all the way, tho.

Since it was a chapter a month, the end came very abruptly. I didn't know the manga ended already. I thought we still had to see the outcome of the comic-con and a bunch of other stuff. In the end nothing happened with many things. What a let down.

that's what hiatuses are for.
it's a successful series, what's wrong with moving to monthly releases?

WHY DO PUBLISHERS HAVE IT SO GODDAMN HARD STOPPING SLAVING AUTHORS?

this went from a 9.5 romcom to a 7 because litterally nothing gets completion.

I would prefer a hiatus too.
The resolution is important, without it the whole story become almost meaningless.

Well the botched ending takes this from an 8/10 to like a 3/10. This is why I don't buy manga.

Oh god, I do wish the author will get well and did some epilogues or some side stories mini from the end of sem2 to their marriage

Kinda sad since I was looking forward for their possible marriage scene instead of this ending

7/10. Series was good throughout but the arcs toward the end of the series were dragging. However, the peak happened after these arcs when they confessed to each. The denouement of the series was a bit underwhelming as we didn't see them develop as a couple. We were only treated to them being married and that was only on the last chapter. A poignant end, indeed. Not just because it ended but it ended in an underwhelming manner.
