The confession was a big cop-out, but I don't think I would like Jade x Teresse half as much if they didn't add the extra chapters of them interacting as coworkers. I guess I'm a sucker for coworkers-to-lovers.

now I think about it, as much as we got to see the foundation of romance between Jade and Teresse, it wasn't really developed enough since their interactions were mostly between lady and knight, not as individuals. Kind of glad of the cop out because we can focus on the actual romance!

That's how I feel about it. It took a while for Jade to grow on me as a character, so this extra time will only work in their favor.

the way i screamed when teresse went "I must've been running around that box until Jade chose me". poor Jade will never get a break from wtv rizz Teresse has goin that was so cute, i wouldve fell for her for the 7th time if i was him 😭 😭 Im glad to see more tho even if it was a copout! bc at the end, this did start with teresse simply hoping to do somehhing to help her family and as much I am enjoying romance, its fun to see jade and teresse develop more as well as see her continue to do what she set out to do to begin with.

That’s actually Jade switching pronouns! I will have to correct that tonight to make that clearer. I think it’s to show that he’s switching from a polite form of speech to a more intimate one.

No, this is not the final chapter. Like I said, this is the beginning of the court lady arc, which goes on for a few volumes (20 chapters). And another chapter releases on the 10th, which I think is the start of the engagement arc.

Idk. No matter what I did, somebody was going to get confused. Doesn’t feel like I can win. The reception these past few days has been a little disheartening, even with all the nice comments. Guess I need to focus on the good rather than the bad.
