I think the worst thing that she's named Karla is that there's another character called Klara (so better to spell it Clara for a little more difference). And they're not exactly unrelated, both being fiancées.

Karla is legally not allowed in that dungeon (because she's underage and isn't a registered adventurer). The guard who let them in probably saved the life of the guard that was trying to stop them. I'm pretty sure a few guards probably died trying to stop Karla from entering in the past, so the ones that have been around a while know to leave her alone and let her through. She has a very low tolerance for people who disagree with her.
