Michika beats me to the punch, but I think she's one of the idol, too. And now Kitami will be reluctant to kill the alien in her presence/got recognized and treated as VIP/don't want to cause problem to his sister's friend's job/etc.

It'll basically throw a wrench into their plan to mass murder in the fest, basically.

Though... the possibility of her also in the assassin group is not zero, I think it's slim.

I HATED this chapter. Half of it was explaining what we already knew, and they resolved the previous cliffhanger by some random weird rigor mortis that contributed nothing. Then what smells like

Editor: You need to introduce a new character ASAP, this is going nowhere. Make it a cute girl.
Author: She could secretly be the idol singing at the concert!

I'm gonna continue reading this because I like the art but I'm done expecting anything from the writing
