I think adult (and specifically male) friendship struggles with life, love, time, regret and lonliness is way way WAY more interesting than some poly drama shit. that shit belongs in trashy harem manga. It's times like these you wish manga culture wasn't so heteronormative. If concepts like bisexuality or polyamory weren't most likely so thoroughly alien to the author, there could have been some interesting developments.
That's the thing, though: right now, there is "Oh no, I can't choose between these two guys who end up getting awkward because of me!" drama, which, to me, feels pretty trite and narrow-minded.I think adult (and specifically male) friendship struggles with life, love, time, regret and lonliness is way way WAY more interesting than some poly drama shit. that shit belongs in trashy harem manga.

And I can 100% believe that poly relationships are handled with the subtlety of being bashed on the head by a shovel, but that's because they're trashy harem stories in the first place, not because of the subject matter, which I wish was portrayed with more elegance, realism, and open-mindedness.
Like my pops used to say, monogamia o balazo. It's times like these you wish manga culture wasn't so heteronormative. If concepts like bisexuality or polyamory weren't most likely so thoroughly alien to the author, there could have been some interesting developments.
While it's not great, we've seen how she's so busy that she barely even has time for herself (Ishikawa probably doesn't know though)A whole month? Girl, come on. I've lost a bit of respect for you. Just put the guy out of his misery and let him move on.
