While I like this series, because it's very comfy, I am confused about how the MC receives such praise for essentially following a book's instructions.
Everyone acts like she is the inventor of the potions, and yet clearly others had perfected them before her. I though this chapter would finally have her actually experimenting with a flawed set of instructions, but she just used the equipment and materials as is, and everything worked out, so again the author of the book is the actual MVP here.
This also goes to the premise of the series. Why are alchemists looked down upon when clearly all the important recipes and such for them have already been addressed? Why on earth would there be alchemists who are bad at their job, when they have instructions for perfect potions already written and ready?
