If Bai Ji still have Ji Bai's personality, she would have hated Lilias. After Ji Bai tragic death in chapter 300, Bai Ji now has Solanya's personality started to treat Lilias as her mother more. The author desperate looked for a way to dispose of Ji Bai and replace him with Bai Ji as the main protagonist. Even the light novel said that Ji Bai has died. The comic is based on the light novel. Thought some really like Ji Bai and some prefer Bai Ji more. I would personally like Bai Ji in this matter after Ji Bai death. Though some really can't accept Ji Bai's death and would want him to be returned and revived after that Gulan emperor's blood. So I think bring back Ji Bai is literarily impossible.
