To distinguish Kimari from Chiyo — and to defend Chiyo a bit — I feel like I need to point out that Chiyo's obsession wasn't rules so much as order, and her conviction that she had to be firm to keep that order. She's relaxed a lot from dating Rentarou and being involved with the Family, so she mostly now acts as a tsukkomi and only really reacts when her OCD gets triggered, but she's never been about just rules for rules' sake.

With Kimari, we're going to have to see how she deals with her introduction chapter — whether she'll stay with the blushing, faint protestations we saw on the last page or develop into something a bit different — but it's quite distinct already from Chiyo's reactions.

I can see the Chiyo comparisons that people are making (I agree), but the first person that popped into my mind when I saw her was actually Kishika (sword-girl). I felt they were closer in their gimmick: people that present an extremely serious exterior and are bound to their creed from their childhood growth, but actually want to buck the system. In opposition to Kishika wanting to receive the doting, Kimari wants to partake in freedom by breaking (or at least bending) the rules.

I can see some neat interactions that could happen with the rule people (Nano, Chiyo, Kishika), but I want to see her even more with her teacher colleagues: Freedom Naddy and Vice Momoha.
