There has been a lot of harem content that has felt like better throuple content than this, that actually commits, so I think that's why its as scrutinized as it is. This isn't a story about three people falling in and figuring out about love. This is about the MC realizing they are loved by everyone around them in a really haphazard way. I this this type of story would have been better had it just been platonic all around to be honest.

Pretty much, the idea of poly is SO fucking stupid and I REALLY wish they'd stop trying to make it work like FFS it has like the highest rate of failure even in our world

the ONLY moment that harems actually work is in a fantasy setting like with elves and shit OR with royalty so like rich people, ancient family etc

but NORMAL PEOPLE trying to do harem/poly that shit does NOT work so its no wonder why this series is ending in failure

I know almost nothing about 100 GFS but it already starts out on a fantasy setting aka Talking to god and being cursed to date a bunch of girls and like you said the point of the series is comedy BUT this series isn't like that AT ALL its more serious and the start of the series was about MC getting good enough at art so he could get the main girl he loves to like him back

HENCE why this series in a normal setting COMPLETELY FAILS but also yea the blue archive doujin probably makes him more $$ hence this series that he backed himself into a corner because bad writing is getting axed next ch
