At least this way she meets a brutal ending that's well deserved for such retarded stupidity. Kind of wished MC was there to witness it, and she begs for help, but sees him just turn his back on her as she gets mauled.
Regardless, you can already tell the storyline and flow of this manga is going to be shitty from the get go. Like if this dude is literally one of the top adventurers ever in Japan, how the hell did a guild employee not know his face?! How the hell does everyone not know his face?! If adventurers are that fucking important, and he happens to be the top dog of em all, it makes absolutely 0 sense that he's unknown by most people. And let alone ... how the fuck does his high school (fake) sweetheart not even know that he was the top adventurer while she was literally with him since high school? HUH? And how does a top adventurer make so little that a guild employee who doesn't even recognize who he is makes that much more than him?! Like WHO WROTE THIS HORRIBLE STEAMING PILE OF HORSE SHIT LOL AND WHAT EDITOR AND COMPANY GAVE THIS A GREEN LIGHT? And all of this is also ignoring the fact he's taking some rando middle school-high school girl under him and she'll become the potential love interest to a fully grown ass man.
She lives, from what someone told me on the actual chapter thread. Moves back in with her family after divorcing the guy (turns out he was cheating or something) and eventually apologizes to the MC.

Again, I'm dropping this because I don't get these stories that go out of their way to make someone from the MC's past a complete scumbag without giving some detail about their life together. (Should bring up that in the near fifteen years they've none each other from high school, which is my guesstimate, it never occurred to her to ask what rank he was? Or for him to bring it up in conversation? )

Like the one where the guy gets sent to another world for years, only to come back and get NTR'd (but not really) by his best friend. Or that one when another guy gets isekaied and his girl childhood friend just goes down a dark path after dating a classmate where his level didn't register as top-level because it doesn't recognizes heroes or heroes are too high-level for the world to recognize them.

Is that seriously becoming a major plot point in isekai where the MC comes back from another world? Where people they grew up with/dated just becomes major assholes?

I think the only "return isekai" I like is the one where the MC comes back and his childhood friend is a single mother with a teenage daughter, but isn't a complete bitch to him.

Sorry for the rant, but I had to get that off my chest.

You one retarded aids monkey.
First, people over reacting to things (hating homos, pedos, and so on) are most of the time ARE those things!
For example, anti-gay preachers how say all homos will go to hell, are more likely to be gay.
Anti-pedo crusaders (like you) are more likely to be pedos.

Second, yes, it's just a drawing, it's not even hentai (IF it was, I'd say you may have a point. but it's not, and you don't).
And if you really want to go at it. age of consent in japan (and most of Europa) is 16, and not too long ago it was 13 in japan.
So in the minds and laws of Japan this is not pedophilia.

Feel free to remove yourself from the world and jumping off the 10 floor.
The “Mad” in your name is really fitting. How can a brain as small as yours hold so much anger?

mad != anger
you retarded inbred ape.
learn English.
Does stupid run in your blood or is it only you?

mad adjective (ANGRY)

A2 [ after verb ] informal
very angry or annoyed:

It might not have been the use you thought of when naming yourself that, but it’s a use that fits you quite well - though mentally ill also fits you just as well

Mind telling me what that manga is you mentioned at the end? And I think I could tolerate and perhaps enjoy trashy written isekais if they just didn't introduce the manga with ntr or the heroes party betraying mc because the revenge is usually lackluster due to a goodie twoshoes low self esteem mc whose wayyyyyyy to nice its almost childlike.
Anyways any intel on that manga u mentioned at the end? Got me curious

The Japanese have this bizarre victim-complex....
At first I thought "this is Chinese as fuck. Some guy got cucked AND lost his job over someone with higher authority? So bloody Chinese."
But then, lo and behold, the MC is actually immensely important, he's a leader of an elite unit, he (should be) holding immense power and wealth -- but he acts like a 17 years old who just got fired for spilling french fries.

No fucking way, man. What is this even?
I was already in a bad mood, but this soured it even more so. Holy fucking shit, what a waste of time for that artist to paint this absolute garbage...
.....And it'd have actually been an okay premise -- IF the MC was not societally elite. I cannot comprehend why the MC has to act like such doormat, why are the Japanese like this.

P.S: After reading the comments, apparently this pile of dogshit is somehow worse.
TLDR: Everything bad that happens to the MC, is because the people around him are morons, and have bizarre info-blindness regarding who and what the MC is, and the MC's actions encourages them to treat him like a dirt stain. I.E: none of it is believable, everything is asspulled. Author wanted the MC to "feelbad 👉👈", and somehow got greenlitt to get a manga. I feel sorry for everyone involved.
Alright, that's enough rage dumping.

Isekai Kaeri no Daikenja-sama wa Sore Demo Kossori Kurashite Iru Tsumori desu

Edit: Don't get it confused with Isekai Kaeri no Yuusha wa, Dungeon ga Shutsugen shita Genjitsu Sekai de, Influencer natte Kane wo Kasegimasu!, which is the second one I mentioned.

Isekai kara Kikan Shitara Chikyuu mo Kanari Fantajii Deshita. Ato, Makeheroin-domo Kocchi Minna. That's the other.

Not to mention in the web novel, if you interact with the MC negatively in anyway, your karma takes a massive nosedive.

The Ex-GF gets horribly injured/disfigured after almost getting raped in the dungeon months after marrying the scumbag and fired from party when it's revealed that said scumbag was the reason he was "involuntarily retired." Scumbag is demoted and sent to a branch where the main guild sends those who wronged them (and cheats on the GF after she is found brutally injured).

Classmate who told her to cheat is also demoted to custodian at a pay cut, but quits to become an adventurer after apologizing to MC.

Parents who sold the girl off are in turn disowned by said girl and sold off to a wealthy man overseas by the yakuza to a fate so brutal the story doesn't want to go into it.

A bully tied to a politician eventually gets put in jail for whatever reason, only for his dad to get charged for corruption that the politician's assistant revealed because the politician was a horrible boss to them and they were feeding information about said corruption to the authority. Said employee gets killed by the son if memory serves.

Again, this whole series is karma/revenge porn where things just happen to the people that slighted the MC and/or anyone tied to him in a positive way.

This sort of story-concept is truly "have the cake, and eat it too", isn't it?
The MC is a loser, but also amazing.
Because the MC is a loser, people react to him negatively.
But because he's also amazing, the people who "wronged" him suffer greatly instead, and those who side with him, are immensely rewarded.
The reason someone sees him as amazing / a loser, is entirely arbitrary, and as you said; fucks with their karma, like some sort of an aesopic singularity.

The sad thing is, you can make a revenge/karma porn story fun to read. Xianxia does it right (as a premise), with the pipeline:
MC weak -> get wronged by strong guy (authority/physically) -> MC has the karmic merit to "power up and correct wrongdoings" -> repeat infinitely. You don't even need to know how to write to pump out successful stories like these, since that basic loop makes emotional sense to anyone who comes upon it. But: "I'm a loser, but also amazing", is a Japanese cognitive dissonance that somehow keeps popping up.

And, heck, there's "revenge hero", a story premise so absurd, that you'd think would end in 10 chapters, but it just kept going, and kept delivering.
EDIT: It just occurred to me that: "I'm a loser, but also amazing" -- is literally a story-structure for children. It makes perfect sense. What doesn't, is that Japan's industry is in such a cozy place, to market aggressively to children, with manga and anime, no matter how high or how low.

Isekai authors really don't want to try anymore huh? Just make the most nonsensical whatever opening to justify a story.
If he is the only top rank hunter in the country, why isn't he treated like celebrity?
