The tournament lasted only 2 chapters & of course it had to a draw/disqualification without a real winner between the two. So does anyone know if this was a promotion to the light novel & how much content the manga adaption took from the Source material? I don't mind spoilers for what is there to come. Sad that this ended since Leold was making so much progress to redemption & if there is romance between him & Sylvia. Thanks for translating this to completion & good luck to the artist plus author on their next work.

Since the manga ver was axed guess we won't see FMC maid and MC knight get married and also both MC and FMC become fiance

At very least ...in manga ver MC maid was not forgotten until end of series ...unlike in WN ver ...since her char got forgotten

Well this is it i guess, thanks for reading!
Do check out other series we do on our website, MangaDex, or aggregator of your preference!
Thanks for the translation, it was good! I guess I'll just have to read the web novel, if anyone knows the chapter this left off it will save me a little time.
you cant make an MC rape someone and have him be forgiven so this goes in the "I'm glad its axed" pile. g
It wasn't actually him, it was the person whose body he woke up in. It's kind of an unfair thing.

There's another manga I read where in the book, the protagonist sexually assaulted a 14 year old girl, twice. And that bit was censored, making it seem like the girl was crazy or a liar for insisting the protagonist take responsibility.

really like the novel, but the manga art was hard to swallow.

Did like this ending with Clarisse though, where she shows a heroine face like she found happiness despite what happened to her. One of the things I like in this novel is how every time the MC achieves something, that damages the former heroine who was a victim of his, and there was a need to balance things out.

It is a bit strange that Leold got really close with the Saintess, where in the novel he is all "nops, nops, she is a mine field, nops". Sure they were kinda close, but he always kept a forced distance.
Until she got her father and mother (king and queen) to force him, and he literally refused her to the king himself, and that really hit her hard that he was so much against her, so she tried to change herself, and she did so, it reached the point where he couldn't refuse her anymore.

Ah, the axe gets another victim.

I'm curious how the WN and LN differs, because the manga made me feel like this was one of those stories that shouldn't have been an isekai tbh.

The story seemed to be focused on redemption, but the guy in question was dead and the "new" Leold had to prostrate himself to everyone for 20+ chapters to everyone for crimes he didn't commit, one of which being rape. Yeah, I'm very conflicted with how I feel about the manga.

It did feel somewhat refreshing to see people finally refuse to accept the reformed protagonist. I've seen too many stories where someone reincarnates as a horrible villain, do one or two good deeds, and everyone starts fawning over them.

either axe or LN promotion, the tournament is leold just tuk-tuk run over sieg without even bat and eye. Sieg do give a bit of a fight of Couse.
the main fight come with the 2nd or strongest knight of the kingdom in which leold try to buff himself with lighting and fight evenly with him for a few sec. before lighting fired his entire body.

Unfair most certainly but what are you going to use as your defense? "Oh I'm actually a person from another world in this body so I should get a clean slate and not be held responsible for every crime you saw me commit over the past 10 years" Who the hell is gonna believe that? It only comes across as disingenuous and more of a tactic to save your own skin and deflect criticism. True forgiveness may only be possible after a VERY long time if ever.

It wasn’t me, it was the alcohol! It wasn’t me, it was the meth! It wasn’t me, I had a gambling addiction!

All you boys need to think about what accountability means, and if that can start from thinking about how a character in an eroge isekai shouldn’t simply be forgiven for their past, so be it.
