Same here. The King isn't superhuman, he's not OP, he's not a protagonist with plot armor.
He's a flawed, but competent, man who made mistakes, who got complacent by having an OP protag run the country for him, saw how shitty it was to have to deal with the complaints of Karen-commoners and didn't want to deal with that, but is now trying to get the country running effectively again.
