Bummed about the axe, but the ride was so good that the shitty ending only brought it down to a 9/10 for me. Looking forward to checking out the LN as you folks make progress on it. Thanks so much for the hard work!

I called it when I commented on the last chapter (like a minute ago but it still stands)
the wrestling move should've been a suplex to illustrate what was about to happen to the series, that shit was abrupt and devastating

I highly recommend checking out the LNs but I'll recap for the people who don't have the time.

So basically we get a sports festival arc, Shijouin meeting his family and being forced to stay over because of a bad storm. Shijouin takes a bath with his sister. This is not a joke. There LN illustration of it. Shijouin and Niihama accidentally fall asleep on the couch and snuggle all night. His sister takes a bunch of pictures, it is diabetically wholesome.)

Then we get a beach arc. Shijouin accidentally gets drunk and Niihama has to take care of her.

We then get a working a retail job arc. Niihama and eventually Shijouin work at a hybrid Coffee/bookstore that Shijouin's Dad owns. He earns the Dad's respect with a meeting where he uses future knowledge about potential business renovation( remember the company nearly bankrupt in the original timeline). The manager of the shop is adokable

So the climax is actually very interesting. Basically right as he's about to confess Haruka goes into a sudden coma. When he visited her she starts mumbling about future things that she can't possibly know like smart phones. It's implied the trauma of our future caused her to go into a coma

Basically, using some cosmic reality reincarnation shenanigans with the power of destiny, he time leaps a few days before she unalives herself in the orginal timeline. He reconciles with his family and quits his job at the black company. He finds Haruka and She thinks he's a crazy person bc of what he is saying. But something in her head tells her to believe him. They reconcile. We get an epilogue to this timeline. It ends on a happy note.

He ends up back the first time leap timeline. She awakens from her coma thinking it was a weird dream because she remembers the changed timeline. They decide to become a couple.

An epilogue shows him working for her Dad being groomed to be the company's future president. Because he cheated with his future knowledge the company's doing really good.

They have a kid together and are happily married. All is right in the world.

Rating this a 1 just because of the "it's continued in the LN" bullshit. This is the second or third manga I've read that does this and I'm fucking tired. Istg, if I ever again see a romance manga being an adaptation of an LN, I'm not even gonna bother reading it.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA holy fucking shit that's so fucking bad. Reminds of that teacher time leap manga that fucked up the ending so hard. Ngl I should have read this before making my other comment. Seeing this, I'm actually glad it got axed at this point as now I don't have to bother reading multitude of chapters for such a bad end. Oh well, at least I got a good laugh out of this comment.

They thought by axed this, they can makes me want to buy and read the LN, but no, it instead has the opposite effect on me, I no longer in the mood to continue reading this series. So, can anyone tell me the last chapter and the ending of Light Novel? I can't read Japanese and it hasn't been translated if I'm not wrong because I can't find it. Put the spoiler tag if you want to answer it.
The fan translations are free. Check NovelUpdates or join Secre Translations Discord server for the links (discord.gg/qFkt92GcaQ). Find my earlier comments for a brief summary of the ending.

I humbly disagree I think it's a unique ending, I think it would have been boring if they went down a slice-of-life route. It's a wholesome series yes, but there are still supernatural and drama elements in this series and I like that they considered that when writing the ending. I think people go into this only wanting romance aspects but that makes it about as original as every other manga or light novel aroumd. Also keep in mind that the summary you read previously is a summary and the LN is more detailed than that synopsis, of course

I mean my abridged version does cut all the character development and build up lol. I basically summarized 5 LNs in a few paragraphs which why I recommended the LNs. They are a very easy read compared to other series

This journey felt like watching the first iron man movie, ending it with all the other heroes crying, but you have no idea who they are.

… cool I guess, the guy will continue to relive his life, and marry the girl… or wake up in a hospital because he had a stroke, and nothing has changed.

If its not because of sale
its probably one of these thing
1. Disagreement with artist and writer/pub
2. poor performance by the artist
JP prefer to reboot everything from zero rather than its continued with different artist like how CN/KR usually operate

Best thing they can do, is to make a new sequel with new artist than a full reboot
