Sometimes, when reading manga with comically evil/incompentent people like this, i think to myself "wow, how unrealistic, in real life people would never do this, my suspension of disbelief is broken". But after a few moment i recall all the people like that that ive met or heard of irl and realize that i just dont want to believe that they exist, because its so depressing

Io: Quit a major movie job because she's an actual autist and can't read between the lines (her brother made a document literally spoonfeeding her script and how she should act for every movie because otherwise she would just memorize the script and deliver lines mechanically)
Mika: She was a model and had a brand of clothes, she got a double whammy because 1. her brother controlled her diet so she maintained her figure, without him to tardwrangle her she got fat 2. her brother was the designer for her clothing brand and when she had to work with another designer and tried to claim they were her designs (as she did with her brother) she got called out
Yachiru: She actually left the family (and the agency) after collabing with one of the heroines (the heroine is a vtuber)
Nana: Left the family after realizing the mysterious song producer/composer she admired (Five) was her brother Go <- Go is Five in japanese, also his brand designer name was V
Shiki: ramen too spicy, lost her voice (gone wrong)

I think theres an interesting premise here, doing a sort of origin story of a character cast out from their home where everyone is more successful. Except that nobody really bothers to pick up MC immediately after, its just them scrounging by with the other grinders to start.

Basically first few chapters is learning the myriad of ways (legal and illegal) people survive, trying to wedge the extra bit of wiggle room when possible. Then when it really seems like things won't go through at all, one of the old family comes back to kick him while hes down. I think that maybe this would've been really good origin story for a thief type character trying to get their revenge.
