No, as you know, when it comes to studying for anything, manga MCs need to ignore EVERYTHING until they achieve that something. No time to breath, no time to go out even for a single day, no time to call or send a message. For some reason they can't act like an actual, properly responsible human being and try to sell this to you as something great. But considering mangakas themselfs not known for their work/life balance, you can only write about what you know. Just like how you can't write someone smarter than yourself.

Very often, they end on a cliffhanger to encourage people to read the novel.,Sometimes, it ends with an original ending to wrap everything and most of the time, the adaptation ends after a conclusive arc that would be a perfect ending, even though the novel continues after said arc. It's really weird to see manga adaptations that cover the whole light novel.
