The official TL itself died long ago.Nice to see that this wonder made it through the massacre intact.
It was already a struggle when we didn't get updates at all,but it seems the new wind of these high seas has overcome Hell, high water, and even Davy Jones' Gym Locker.
I just still hope we get a new 3D animated adaptation that actually faithfully follows the wild story that took this long to reach.
You didn't know, did you?The official TL itself died long ago.
I know many of the struck series don't even have an official TL, but kind of tells you where the publisher priorities are with this series. It may remain mildly popular with a cult following in Japan, but outside Japan the business potential is probably not even worth them doing even the most minimal of litigation.

This was part of Crunchyrolls' translated comics, who ended ALL their comic translation services on the 11th of December,2023.
And guess which former pirate turned worst US monopoly that's badly run is still sitting on those IPs?...
It's not even an issue on which series was a big time money maker at that point.
As this point, though,it depends on the four major companies, which apparently none have AOBS in their clutches.
It's not about priorities whatsoever. The publisher of AoBS is Shonen Gahosha, who simply didn't participate in this Piracy Crusade™ with other big corps. They're a small publisher with not many popular titles, so they either don't care, don't want to spare the extra effort, or understand that they're not in position to act like a jerk.I know many of the struck series don't even have an official TL, but kind of tells you where the publisher priorities are with this series.
I assume Crunchyroll being jerks themselves did not help. It's not about priorities whatsoever. I don't understand how you have literally described the publisher having other priorities, then say its not about priorities. And I did mention which publisher the series is under. I also literally mentioned the publisher. It's not about priorities whatsoever. The publisher of AoBS is Shonen Gahosha, who simply didn't participate in this Piracy Crusade™ with other big corps.
