While I like the MC not being super dense and actually noticing the similarities in their/her(?) appearance, it's a bit annoying how hung up he is on his suspicion.
And even if he asked her, what would he achieve that way? If she's not (or claims not to be) a former AV actress it'll be awkward, but it'd kinda be the same if she confirms it. Or is he just gonna tell her "I'm a big fan of yours"?
And chances are, she doesn't want to bring this up to begin with...
So to conclude, apart from satisfying his curiosity I don't see what he's going to gain from asking her. While at the same I could think of a number of reasons making this scenario uncomfortable for her...
